The Shaquille O’Neal Foundation has partnered with Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Communities in Schools to support programs and projects targeting underserved youth. Shaquille has long standing relationships with both organizations. He is a Boys & Girls Club alumnus, was inducted in the BGCA Alumni Hall of Fame in 2000 and is a national spokesperson for the organization. He is also a National Board of Directors member for Communities in Schools.
Serves 4.73 million young people, through membership and community outreach, at 4,645 clubs throughout the country and BGCA-affiliated youth centers on U.S. military installations worldwide.
